Day 1: Arrival at Puri /
Bhubaneswar
On arrival at Bhubaneswar
Airport / Bhubaneswar Railway Station/ Puri Railway Station transfer to
hotel at Puri Sea Beach. Distance from Bhubaneswar to Puri is Just 60
Kms.
Half day Sea bath, Darshan at Jaganath Temple with Guide / Panda.
Sight seeing at Puri Town (Gundicha Temple, Lokanath Temple, Sonar
Gouranga Temple, Bedi Hanuman Temple).

Day 2 : Puri - Konark - Bhubaneswar
- Puri
Drive to Konark to visit the Sun temple ( one of the world famous
heritage site & famously known as Black Pagoda). Enroute visit to
Ramchandi temple & Chandrabhaga beach (one of the finest beaches
with a long stretch of clean sands & the beach has its own lovely
serenity).
At Bhubaneswar,
Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves ( oldest rock cut
caves, the caves are reminiscent of influence of Buddhism and Jainism
in Orissa ),
Visit to famous city temples including Lingaraj, Mukteswar
(know as the 'gem of Orissan architecture' ).
Dhauli ( Budhist stupa/
peace pagoda ) ,
Pipli (the applique work village )
& Raghurajpur (
the Artisan village, the most famous attraction here are the Pattachitra (miniature paintings ), palm leaf engravings, stone
carvings, wooden toys, tusser paintings etc.

Day 4 : Kolkata Sight Seeing
Kolkata City Tour.
After breakfast, start
for full day Kolkata city tour covering Howrah Bridge*, Belur
Math, Vivekananda Setu*, Dakshineswar Temple, GPO*, Writers
Building*, Eden Garden Stadium*, St. Pauls Cathedral Church,
Victoria Memorial Hall, Mother House & Birla Temple.
Drive back
to Howrah Railway
Station for onward to Darjeeling (By Darjeeling Mail Exp. /
Volvo Bus) .

Day 5 : Welcome to Queen of the
Hill Station
On your arrival at NJP railway station, we will take you to Darjeeling(7100 ft).
You will be delighted with the
"Queen of the hills" and you might even feel a thunderbolt
within you, as you feel relaxed with a kind of unique experience
of mesmerizing view of the hills all along the sides of the road
stretching about 90 km / 3.5 hours of your journey up the hill
to Darjeeling.
On arrival at Darjeeling, enjoy
the cool stay at the hotel room for charging up yourself for the
next day.

Day 6 : At Darjeeling
'Sun and Moon never wait for
us'- So your sight seeing starts pretty early at 3.30 am for a
spectacular sunrise at Tiger Hill, the majestic Kanchenjunga
range and the Everest peak that would never go from your memory.
Tiger Hill is the highest mountain point at Darjeeling. On the
way back, a visit at Ghoom Monastery (ESTD. in 1875) and the
Gorkha War Memorial would be a different experience. Batasia
Loop and beautiful gardens around it would exalt the coexistence
of the nature and the technology.
Batasia Loop is the ancient technology to adjust the deep
height/slope of the hill railway track for the smooth running of
the trains. After breakfast at the hotel, you would proceed for
sightseeing at various spots like the Himalayan Mountaineering
Institute, the Zoo, Tenzing Rock, Labong Race Course, Tea
Gardens, Rock garden & Ganga Maya Park, etc.
After Breakfast during a half-day
local sightseeing, you will visit the Japanese temple, Council
House, Ava Art gallery, Dhirdham temple and Peace Pagoda.
Don't forget to pen down the marvelous thoughts for a nostalgic
future, before going to the bed back in the hotel.

Day 7 : Departure
After Breakfast,you will check
out from the hotel. We will transfer you to NJP Railway station
or Bagdogra Airport.
You would enjoy the beauty of nature once again during your 3 to
3-5 hours of drive en route to NJP/ Bagdogra down the hill.
As you go home let the everlasting memory of the Queen of the
Hill Stations linger on in your mind. |
